Good, good, and more good... I'd heard tell that the shocks were stiffer then... well, anyway, they were really stiff. No so... Mine rides very well, my kidneys still work, and the car handles great... Another thing to consider is that in the package, the shocks are matched to the spring rates. IMHO, having installed a set of Ebach springs with Tokico "blues" on a customers CRX, the Jamex delivered just as good, but cost a whole lot less... dunno about the durability of the shocks yet... -Sean Top

Does anybody have this kit already? I've got that set ... > What is it like..? Cheap to buy - and i'd say it shows too ... Depends on your locality and the use of your car. On good smooth roads, no problem - good as anything else i reckon. On the racetrack, seems ok here too ... I've had no problems. However, find a bumpy bit of urban road and you'll discover the kit makes things a bit on the 'crashy' side which i dislike and there's ALOT of these roads where i live ... Careful here, depending on the year of your DOHC, the vtec shox definitely WON'T fit. Later ones may be ok but i'd check carefully first - Alastair .. Have you tried that swap ? I saw Sean's question on durability and i'd just say i've been doing my best to wear the damn things out so i can buy something better but no success yet - about 5 years later - Doh :( In conclusion, i'd say the kit is good value but i wouldn't buy it again. Having said that, don't know what i'd get instead .... L8r Tony Goose PS - Anyone want my rex ? I bought a Turbo MR2 ....

The damping effects of the blues are good, so excessive bouncing shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure that if you lower your car, cut the bump-stops on struts shorter (cutting it in half should be good). I've heard rumours that some kinds of neuspeed springs lead to bottoming-out with the blues, but don't take this as absolute fact since it is ONLY a rumour. If you are looking for good prices, it's hard to beat Jamex springs. At $100 USD per set, they're a good deal. I haven't heard any complaints about Jamex's yet, and their service is good. No, I don't work for them. Let me guess--you want to lower your car 1-1.5" because when you put in your blues, they RAISED your car about that much, right? :) Henry *********************************************************** * 89 CR-X dx * * Email: hchea@ramapo.edu OR OneTimeCRX@aol.com * * OR OneTimeCRX@hotmail.com * ***********************************************************
